Modern Slavery Statement

Global Vans is a trading name of BL Autosource LLP and are an appointed representative of AutoEase Vehicle Management Ltd. As one of the leading van suppliers in the UK, our business is brokering the sale of vehicles and finance to customers. All of our directly employed staff work and live in the UK.

We condemn modern slavery, and we seek to operate openly and in an ethical manner in all our business dealings. It is important to us that those businesses and organisations with which we do business comply with modern slavery laws, and condemn modern slavery.

Our Policy on Modern Slavery:

• We are fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our organization, and within our supply chain.
• We are committed to transparency and honestly in all our business relationships and dealings.
• Any instances of modern slavery brought to our attention will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, with a zero-tolerance policy set in place. Any and all allegations of modern slavery or human trafficking within any area of our business or supply chains will be investigated quickly and thoroughly.
• Any report of modern slavery and/or human trafficking should be taken to any member of senior management and all directors will be appraised of the outcome of any and all investigations.

People:

• Without our amazing people, we wouldn’t be great. That is why we are committed to fair treatment of all employees as vital to the success of the business as a whole.
• All employees have the right to live and work in the UK.

Supply Chains:

• As a company whose business is tied to 3^rd party suppliers, we understand that this exposes us to greater risk of instances of modern slavery.
• Upon review of our major suppliers (made up of funders, vehicle dealers, and major manufacturers) we found that these sectors are at lower risk of modern slavery. Regardless of this we have ensured that either a Modern Slavery Statement is provided (if they themselves are eligible) or we are satisfied with their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015.

Our Actions:

• We have published our Modern Slavery Statement on our website, and has been made available to our staff on our internal system.
• 3^rd party suppliers have been reviewed to ensure their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015.
• We have ensured that all staff are paid within the minimum legal requirements in adherence with the National Minimum Wage.
• All new employees will be provided training upon induction and are made aware of our compliance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and where to find our Modern Slavery Statement.

We commit to an ongoing review of our adherence to the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and pledge to ensure the compliance of our business and 3^rd parties within our supply chains to the edicts set out in the Modern Slavery Act of 2015. 

Annual review of this statement and any amendments deemed necessary will be made and approved by our directors in aid of preventing and eradicating Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
