Today at Global Vans, we are stepping into the future as the first in the UK to bring you the Citroën ë-Dispatch.

With the release of the ë-Dispatch, Citroën has delivered all of the comfort and utility of the Dispatch, in 100% electric.

As the first in the country to get our hands on this shiny new example of EV innovation, let us give you the low-down on what you need to know-

Best in Class

With 2 available battery sizes giving different capacity for range, the Citroën ë-Dispatch offers a huge Best-in-Class range capability of up to 205 miles.

The 50kWh battery option offers a range of 143 miles at 50% max payload – with the 75kWh battery delivering the class beating 205 miles of range.

No need to worry when it comes to battery degradation either, with an 8-year (or up to 100,000 miles) battery warranty – Citroën show their confidence in the battery’s durability, and a commitment to ensure your ë-Dispatch is always performing at its best.

Charging: What are the facts?

Depending on your needs in terms of range, and where your daily trips take you, the Citroën ë-Dispatch gives you several charging options.

• Out and about all day? 100kW Public Charging can give you 80% charge on your 50kWh battery in as little as 30 minutes, with the 75kWh battery reaching 80% charge in only 45 minutes.
• The 11kW Wallbox can give a full charge in 4h45 to 7h30 depending on battery size.
• Alternately, the 7.4kW Wallbox option can charge the battery in full from 7h to 11h20 depending on battery size.

So, whether you’re planning on longer journeys where you’ll need to make use of Public Charging points or you plan to charge up at home overnight or at your place of business, the Citroën ë-Dispatch has the range of options to accommodate you.

It’s also great to know that Citroën have partnered with Pod Point – who can supply and install wall boxes for homes and workplaces. So, you can take advantage of government EV incentives such as the workplace charging grant.

What’s it like to drive?

Whether you drive for a living or as part of your daily routine, driving experience is important.

Most noticeable to new Electric Vehicle drivers is the lack of engine noise – The Citroën ë-Dispatch is responsive, smooth, and quiet on the road.

With Electric Motor Power of 100kW (136hp) and Instant Torque, the Citroën ë-Dispatch doesn’t disappoint on performance. The 3 driving modes (Normal/ Eco/ Power) mean you get a responsive and dynamic driving experience whether you’re driving in the city or out on the open road.

What are the benefits?

The 100% electric Citroën ë-Dispatch gives you complete freedom when driving in the city. With the growing number of Clear Air Zones where emissions charges can get expensive, having free reign in these areas in your zero-emission vehicle will be an enviable position.

To help you save on battery range, Citroën have introduced remote heating and cooling pre-conditioning via the MyCitroën app, or via the touchscreen with the Connect Nav Services.

The MyCitroën app also allows you to set charging times, and consult the range & remaining charge time of your ë-Dispatch remotely. Giving you an advanced level of comfort and capability, beyond the regular Dispatch.

What about functionality?

Available in 3x lengths, the Citroën ë-Dispatch does not compromise on load space. With identical load areas to its diesel counterpart, it may be 100% electric but it is still designed to be a workhorse.

• XS – Load Length: 2160mm
• M – Load Length: 2510mm
• XL – Load Length: 2860mm

With a Moduwork bulkhead standard on Enterprise and Driver models, the ë-Dispatch’s intelligent load space can be extended. This is addition to the max payload of 1226kg helps show that with the Citroën ë-Dispatch, going electric does not mean you have to compromise on functionality.
